Where to Buy Chocolate in Campos do Jordão

Campos do Jordão is a paradise for chocolate and hot chocolate lovers. So the area has plenty of cafés and shops selling chocolate, and here are our tips on where to buy it in Campos do Jordão.

Chocolates Montanhês

Founded in 1937 in Campos do Jordão. Products include bonbons, truffles, chocolate bars, and white, milk, and dark chocolate pieces, with cashews, almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, or liqueur fillings.

The shop is beautiful, built in Dutch style, and they’ve now opened a café right next to the shop where you can sit and take in the clock square in Capivari.

Spinassi Chocolates

With the slogan “onde o cacau vira arte” (where cacao becomes art), this chain has expanded and has several locations, not just downtown in Capivari but also along the main avenue leading into town. Some are themed, others simpler, and it’s absolutely a solid pick in the area.

Sabor Chocolate

Since 1990, this shop has promoted bringing artisanal chocolate flavor to the Vale do Paraíba. The shops are really cute, though we only found mini bars for sale, along with plenty of pretty mugs.

Toco Outlet do Chocolate

An artisanal chocolate factory that tends to offer better prices than its competitors, with a genuinely tasty flavor. It also sells jams and other products, which were on sale when we visited.

Cacau de Campos Chocolates

The moment I walked in, I found a really well-organized shop offering chocolate bars in several flavors, which is genuinely interesting and tasty. The shops are also beautiful, making this a great tip for where to buy chocolate in Campos do Jordão.

Bruno Alves Chocolatier

This beautiful shop carries Belgian chocolate, ideal if you want to give a gift that impresses on both quality and packaging. In downtown Capivari, they also have an ice cream shop, though we weren’t able to try it.

Liège Chocolates

Located next to the Baden Baden restaurant, similar to the others above, this shop offers a wide range of chocolates and bonbons. One option worth mentioning is the milk or white chocolate langue de chat, which is delicious.

Kopenhagen

For anyone who doesn’t want to take chances, Kopenhagen has a shop downtown in Capivari, keeping up its usual excellence in both chocolate and hot drinks.

Cacau Show

For anyone familiar with the brand who’d rather skip trying local chocolate, at a more affordable price. The brand’s shop is large, located on the street heading toward Capivari rather than downtown itself, but it’s still easy to reach by car.
